I was very excited to get a package from <a href="http://www.sweettreatcosmetics.com/">Sweet Treat Cosmetics</a> today, as I had been eying their products for a bit. So lets get down to business.<br /><br /><span style="font-weight: bold;">Sweet Treat Cosmetics</span> is a relatively new mmu company, owned by the very sweet Kaitlyn. The company was launched in June 2011 & specializes in mineral makeup and lip glosses (although I am sure there will be more great things coming up in the future). The names and flavors of their products are based on all the deliciousness of well, sweet treats! If you are like me and you have a sweet tooth, you will appreciate the names. STC currently has a listing of 20 loose eye shadows. At $5 per 5gm pot, the price is just right. They are not a 100% Vegan shop but for the items that are Vegan, it is posted. Right now, they have a listing of 7 lip glosses in various colors & flavors. STC also has a face powder and some eye shadow collections up as well.<br />I'm really impressed by the variety of the items they have so far but I do look forward to see more loose powders up as they grow.<br /><br /><span style="font-weight: bold;">Buying/Shopping:</span> Buying from STC is a snap. I love when companies take the time to set up a decent shop and provides a great shopping experience. Everything is nicely catagorized & easy to find. A plus is the shipping tab, where it shows how much your item(s) are going to cost you. I have to say I really love how they show what the actual color will look like when worn. So many times I see I color I want, but it's not swatched or anything and that's a bummer. So kudos to STC for this! One thing I would love to see changed (and this is just me being picky lol) is the font size and color. I would like to see it a bit easier to read for the customers.<br /><br /><span style="font-weight: bold;">What I got:</span> Because I couldn't decide what I wanted, I ordered a Mystery Grab Bag. This is a limited edition item, celebrating 500 fans on their facebook page. What's great about this item is that you get to pick your size! Again, creativity gets an A+! You can pick your "craving" from petite to Gluttony. They start at $10 and the highest is $50. I got a petite craving grab bag. According to their site: "Each bag will contain more product than the retail value suggests." In my bag, I received two full size eye shadows, 1 sample eye shadow and 1 full size lip gloss, plus candy. It was all wrapped in a cute Halloween bag! I ordered on Oct 5th and received it on Oct 11th (remember the 1oth was a holiday). I would have received it on Sat (Oct 8th) but my PO likes to withhold packages. DC confirmed it arrived on Fri. So all in all, amazing shipping and TAT!<br /><div style="text-align: center;"><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi01hy0JIGadqLuiA1D0zt7wR3lbZ_4EZwMZIGtxKHm9vuVUDjw3TTXscouGfb5x0xbqoZzXX5vyYZNMGE9yL3EaZTzlQ3NTBqhDh4hFwyz-yvai3ZGQmD-9oXU1Bk6MZI4-9-C27GDzry1/s1600/IMG_4814.jpg"><img style="cursor: pointer; width: 237px; height: 228px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi01hy0JIGadqLuiA1D0zt7wR3lbZ_4EZwMZIGtxKHm9vuVUDjw3TTXscouGfb5x0xbqoZzXX5vyYZNMGE9yL3EaZTzlQ3NTBqhDh4hFwyz-yvai3ZGQmD-9oXU1Bk6MZI4-9-C27GDzry1/s320/IMG_4814.jpg" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5662347810929442162" border="0" /></a><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi15Cmf6Z7bW_vEdK8hcOtLkX-7Yn1hYT5pPgxvG_Lh5X48qhyphenhyphenA8JLM3_T6o0m8wra3C2D66l1viuh45SZhh1LORXkGPtG0AhAtS-DV_NoRiZWIu87Ojaqjnpwhyphenhyphenngke_UeR_uJ0VGyNk7p/s1600/IMG_4818.jpg"><img style="cursor: pointer; width: 320px; height: 228px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi15Cmf6Z7bW_vEdK8hcOtLkX-7Yn1hYT5pPgxvG_Lh5X48qhyphenhyphenA8JLM3_T6o0m8wra3C2D66l1viuh45SZhh1LORXkGPtG0AhAtS-DV_NoRiZWIu87Ojaqjnpwhyphenhyphenngke_UeR_uJ0VGyNk7p/s320/IMG_4818.jpg" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5662350187028801138" border="0" /></a><br /></div><div style="text-align: center;"><span style="font-weight: bold;font-size:78%;" >My treats & invoice</span><br /><br /></div><div style="text-align: center;"> <span style="font-weight: bold;">I received:</span> Lemon Drop, Blue Raspberry, Daiquiri (sample) & a limited edition Candy Corn Lip Gloss. Through that, I have been introduced to some awesome like minded glitter fiends and some awesome (and not so awesome) indie shops. The most recent shop is Glory Box Cosmetic Co. GBCC is owned by the fabulous Tawnya M.<br /><br /><span style="font-weight: bold;">About the shop:</span> GBCC can be found on facebook <a href="http://www.facebook.com/home.php#%21/gloryboxcosmetics">HERE </a>and on etsy <a href="http://www.etsy.com/shop/GloryBoxCosmetics">HERE</a>. I really like how everything is neat (you'd be amazed at how many etsy shops are not organized). The products are photographed well, the descriptions are point on and the ingredients are listed.<br /><br /><span style="font-weight: bold;">What I ordered: </span>Tawnya was offering something called the "Poolection" on facebook and I fell in love with the colors. She only made 5 and they were $30.00 each. I must mention here that I know this may not be for everyone but there is a story behind this but I don't feel it is my place to mention what that is (if Tawnya agrees I will edit this and add). The collection came with 5 gorgeous neutral colors with a homemade charm and topper on the stack-able. Along with my order, I received two gorgeous reds and a free sample of GBCC eye primer. I received my order in less than a week! The customer service is amazing and everything was labeled correctly and with ingredients. GBCC is so professional and this is how a Indie company should be run.<br /><br /><div style="text-align: center;"><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjmlKSwWCDRX8CDbJIDYm8EWeGq92sDoiROc1uScgadgLSDAyBubKYGwrV2GeU2I7FQiJZWnhXVgG7KpBnGrphrCGfA47BSVYydOR1W3umCOWn6utos5ZUcr7_I2DodOP-FxbT3YZUzIMJE/s1600/IMG_3155.jpg"><img style="cursor: pointer; width: 320px; height: 272px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjmlKSwWCDRX8CDbJIDYm8EWeGq92sDoiROc1uScgadgLSDAyBubKYGwrV2GeU2I7FQiJZWnhXVgG7KpBnGrphrCGfA47BSVYydOR1W3umCOWn6utos5ZUcr7_I2DodOP-FxbT3YZUzIMJE/s320/IMG_3155.jpg" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5584898799507869074" border="0" /></a><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiZm6_5ubJo5dI-yitw1LhQVHtfwg3A0GQmwW2XUJGIDtd6oQe4O6JEFvgihtD223D5k0pwZGYIU07ahKLr5gdaWXKoUHU69w2gT8jClhmGNcpzqKiTuZoDOtquhnW5eJtPr8Saldh-YjR_/s1600/IMG_3157.jpg"><img style="cursor: pointer; width: 320px; height: 189px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiZm6_5ubJo5dI-yitw1LhQVHtfwg3A0GQmwW2XUJGIDtd6oQe4O6JEFvgihtD223D5k0pwZGYIU07ahKLr5gdaWXKoUHU69w2gT8jClhmGNcpzqKiTuZoDOtquhnW5eJtPr8Saldh-YjR_/s320/IMG_3157.jpg" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5584898804659373010" border="0" /></a></div><div style="text-align: center; color: rgb(255, 0, 0);"><span style="font-size:85%;">Left: My package came secure and individually wrapped. VIE is probably one of my most favorite new shops (well, new to me anyhow). VIE has an amazing fan base and you'll learn why!<br /><div style="text-align: center;"><div style="text-align: left;"><br /><span style="font-weight: bold;">About VIE:</span> Currently you can only find VIE on Facebook. They use the "Shop Now" feature which I know some people do not like but I don't mind it. I've done several transactions through shop now with my paypal, and have had no bad experiences. I did hear that VIE is working on setting up a website, so hopefully that will happen soon. VIE has an amazing color selection in their photo section and you'll often see great sales going on! They have their ingredients posted on facebook <a href="https://www.facebook.com/topic.php?uid=114767711899036&topic=323">HERE</a>. As for customer service, well THIS is how all shops should act. With VIE you will get fast shipping, great communication. According to their fan page:<br /><br /><div style="text-align: center; font-family: verdana; font-weight: bold; color: rgb(51, 51, 255);"><span style="font-size:85%;">"Virus Insanity Eyeshadows are packaged in clear 5 gram jars with sifters and conta</span><span style="font-size:85%;">in approximately 3 grams of product. All eyeshadows are loose pigments and are cosmetic grade minerals (for an ingredient list for each eyeshadow see below). VIE do NOT contain preservatives, dyes, talc, or bismuth oxychloride. We recommend applying pigments over an eyeshadow base or primer (you can also use concealer or cream eyeshadow for a quick fix, anything sticky will work) with a small, rounded, soft bristle brush for the best color pay off. All Virus Insanity Eyeshadows are made with pigments that are safe for use on the eyes, lips, cheeks, and nails. This means you can use them for blush, mix them with clear lipgloss, or mix them with clear nail polish!"</span></div><br /><span style="font-weight: bold;">My Order:</span> I ordered a 6 for $20 of randoms. During this time, VIE also had a deal going where you could either choose free shipping ($5) or a free pot of shadow. I of course got the free shadow. As part of a makeup group online and because it was my first order, I again got a free shadow of my choice. How awesome right? Here are my colors (some are off because it is raining here. To see better photos, check out the facebook page!)<br /><br /><div style="text-align: center;"><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhrEy7P7VTMCnyVArUSgLEf_YPzJHtu2dfNX9RvzQJosWodxd939zL5hF9lqJfpw5EvVtk32x2SGGVviIu4ibJS3qjBgclePcdEgq9lG_g8nYptMpeNW-u7C1t3rXnrBSDuqLzIuM-7ulNJ/s1600/IMG_2938.jpg"><img style="cursor: pointer; width: 320px; height: 260px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhrEy7P7VTMCnyVArUSgLEf_YPzJHtu2dfNX9RvzQJosWodxd939zL5hF9lqJfpw5EvVtk32x2SGGVviIu4ibJS3qjBgclePcdEgq9lG_g8nYptMpeNW-u7C1t3rXnrBSDuqLzIuM-7ulNJ/s320/IMG_2938.jpg" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5581797019713846754" border="0" /></a><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjDn3Qtq6yLxTUvkmcxImvkiUFXF4wOKo8Iupoa2p4M5xrSNnPYsaqXlYNSa44C8ce4o9owTYux3bbjv5o39hFnQoSqBqr_eHDvQ_CVRIkQwbdaWopVWB29zxSXw5oqfcJvNXmnHEfWMRfn/s1600/IMG_2918.jpg"><img style="cursor: pointer; width: 304px; height: 260px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjDn3Qtq6yLxTUvkmcxImvkiUFXF4wOKo8Iupoa2p4M5xrSNnPYsaqXlYNSa44C8ce4o9owTYux3bbjv5o39hFnQoSqBqr_eHDvQ_CVRIkQwbdaWopVWB29zxSXw5oqfcJvNXmnHEfWMRfn/s320/IMG_2918.jpg" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5581797013821982946" border="0" /></a><br /><br />Swatches:<br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhMCNTLEJsYgaF1YJgWFwYJRluOCeMS1NKcPF8vGjRZsTi67XDvMHG5fCxWtmUIgamp83oJQR2P3JKXV8hzaBi-ewnMUQvByO0mJ5TXasLgJ4UjdYTFwoPpBJp-fh_EuwBgoSMfNH1UNwGT/s1600/IMG_2911.jpg"><img style="cursor: pointer; width: 311px; height: 212px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhMCNTLEJsYgaF1YJgWFwYJRluOCeMS1NKcPF8vGjRZsTi67XDvMHG5fCxWtmUIgamp83oJQR2P3JKXV8hzaBi-ewnMUQvByO0mJ5TXasLgJ4UjdYTFwoPpBJp-fh_EuwBgoSMfNH1UNwGT/s320/IMG_2911.jpg" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5581802130197735890" border="0" /></a><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg_zLnwp0D_pXyUWn_XvL1wHpbQ5ZV_kfTjGsi7_NhfrRfJC_i4gSIl7zsV59rFRcJ6baZTb420K6nc46-mjmh-ncmm2gGx4Y3BE573x2PeGbp26N23D2Pp4H6jotPzgcORIKvt_AWMwFfW/s1600/IMG_2954.jpg"><img style="cursor: pointer; width: 359px; height: 211px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg_zLnwp0D_pXyUWn_XvL1wHpbQ5ZV_kfTjGsi7_NhfrRfJC_i4gSIl7zsV59rFRcJ6baZTb420K6nc46-mjmh-ncmm2gGx4Y3BE573x2PeGbp26N23D2Pp4H6jotPzgcORIKvt_AWMwFfW/s320/IMG_2954.jpg" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5581806237205292914" border="0" /></a><br /><span style="font-weight: bold; color: rgb(255, 0, 0);">In person, the colors are gorgeous. I'm always on the lookout for good soaps/whips/lotions etc. You get the picture. I will admit I am very picky when it comes to bath and body products. While I was looking for something new, a few of my fellow glitter junkies were gushing about a product called "Black Magic". My first reaction was, huh? Then. they went on to say that it was a great soap product and stuff. So, I decided to check out the shop this product came from and was very surprised.<br /><br /><span style="font-weight: bold;">The basics:</span> First of all, I love the name "One Hand Washes The Other" (very unique). The shop can be found on etsy <a href="http://www.etsy.com/shop/1HandWashesTheOther">HERE </a>and on Artfire <a href="http://www.artfire.com/users/OneHandWashesTheOther">HERE</a>. When I looked on the etsy site, Black Magic was sold out but then I saw that she also has an artfire shop, which is where I ordered from. OHWTO is described as <span style="color: rgb(153, 51, 153); font-weight: bold;">"Vegan-friendly Soaps and Skincare"</span> and is owned by Becca H. She is a really sweet person with excellent customer service. I had convo'ed her on etsy and she promptly responded. She also has a blog that you can follow: <a href="http://ohwto.blogspot.com/">http://ohwto.blogspot.com</a>/.<br /><br /><span style="font-weight: bold;">What I ordered:</span> Since I was hearing all this talk of how great the Black Magic Soap was, I of course got that in the bar form AND in the bottle creme version. With my order, I picked up a sample of the Black Magic Soap (which someone lucky will receive!). I placed my order on Jan 21st (in the late afternoon) and received it on Jan 31st. On OHWTO, the turnaround time is clearly stated as being: 10-14 business days. The look is just downright sexy in my opinion. So ne</span><span style="font-family:georgia;">edless to say, w</span><span style="font-family:georgia;">hen I was introduced to RockABetty Beauty Cosmetics, I w</span><span style="font-family:georgia;">as extremely excited. With that said, there are a couple of issues with this company. <span style="font-weight: bold;">*Disclaimer: The following post is only my opinion and mine alone*</span><br /><br /><span style="font-weight: bold;">The basics:</span> RockABetty Beauty Cosmetics opened in Feb 2010 and ru</span><span style="font-family:georgia;">n by Ber. Her sho</span><span style="font-family:georgia;">p can be found on etsy <a href="http://www.etsy.com/shop/RockABettyBeauty">HERE</a>. The slogan for R</span><span style="font-family:georgia;">ABB is "Where ever</span><span style="font-family:georgia;">y gal's a pinup". I think this is</span><span style="font-family:georgia;"> a g</span><span style="font-family:georgia;">reat slogan because it just draws you in, as a </span><span style="font-family:georgia;">customer. I don't know about you all but one of the first things I do when looking at a new shop, is to check out their shop announce</span><span style="font-family:georgia;">ment. At the </span><span style="font-family:georgia;">time of my order, RABB had a 50% off code (which is a good thing). She clearly stated that orders wouldn't ship out until Jan 4, 2010. Since I wanted to order, I was ok with that. The date of my order was Dec 27th. RABB offers lid lusters in 10g jars, mini lid lusters in 3g jars, pinup powders, scents and more. </span><br /><br /><span style="font-family:georgia;"><span style="font-weight: bold;">What I ordered:</span> I ordere<span style="font-size:100%;">d the "</span></span><span style="font-size:100%;">Crack Baggie Crave Sampler Kit, You pick 10 and a Pinup </span><span style="font-size:100%;">Powder" for $9.50 (with shipping it came to $12.49). The price was good because when you break it down, you are paying .95 for a sample. I am use to paying at least</span><span style="font-size:100%;"> $1.00 per sample. I also like that the Pinup Powder was include.<br /></span><br /><span style="font-size:100%;"><span style="font-weight: bold;">The goods & more: </span>If you look at RABB's shop announcement, you will see t</span><span style="font-size:100%;">hat it now states that all orders with come with delivery confirmation, except sample</span><span style="font-size:100%;">s. This was not previously mentioned at all. I don't know about you but I feel even samples should come with a delivery </span><span style="font-size:100%;">confirmation but again, that is only my opinion. </span><span style="font-size:100%;">As preciously men</span><span style="font-size:100%;">tioned, I ordered on Dec 27</span><span style="font-size:100%;">, </span><span style="font-size:100%;">2010 with the understanding that the orders would not ship until Jan 4, 2011. My actual order did not ship unti</span><span style="font-size:100%;">l Jan 8th and I finally received it on Jan 18th. That is such a long time and I will admit, without dc I was questioning the truth about the actual ship date.</span> Because of the long wait, I emailed RABB twice about the status of my order. I did not receive ONE email back. Communication was terrible. With that said, I was really happy to finally get my stuff, which you can see below.<br /><br /><div style="text-align: center;"><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhaJD-t0hbC91ELrFH4ZP-i69EXPa3Ayd-l2mT4dKIDv8M_u5hEJTcBP3DfHbZxnM1WbB2JlPS2AHilJB7DH9P8OsX6yroZe06xLFDRuO4_ItfnXJNeGqW9ngMedaj2fzWgRzZQ_6R0dpNk/s1600/IMG_2413.jpg"><img style="cursor: pointer; width: 320px; height: 181px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhaJD-t0hbC91ELrFH4ZP-i69EXPa3Ayd-l2mT4dKIDv8M_u5hEJTcBP3DfHbZxnM1WbB2JlPS2AHilJB7DH9P8OsX6yroZe06xLFDRuO4_ItfnXJNeGqW9ngMedaj2fzWgRzZQ_6R0dpNk/s320/IMG_2413.jpg" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5563766067625633810" border="0" /></a><br />Even though I had doubts, it really was shipped on Jan 8th. Really pretty colors. With Rehab though, the blue glitter was simply put, a mess. It didn't stay on and fell off. I'll post more below on the glitter issues.<br /><br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://i420.photobucket.com/albums/pp289/kjjm08/2-1.jpg"><img style="cursor: pointer; width: 316px; height: 163px;" src="http://i420.photobucket.com/albums/pp289/kjjm08/2-1.jpg" alt="" border="0" /></a><br />Swatch #2. Again pretty colors but Covet & TW looked to be the same to me :/<br /><br />So like I said, I was having issues with the glitter in Rehab. In the ship announcement, RABB had this to say:<br /><br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiPEQHOjhBQiR4OZYL_garx-uhastm0NcB_VJkakvdS8a-vScl1F0sqXo7QIG84GHSY0UXa-XCjvR0Jh8Vb334OPkqmDt8LHz8PD72UZ0F74AM3f4ql2eiELTmy-cPUngxeV5SIr7qx1mkQ/s1600/glitter.jpg"><img style="cursor: pointer; width: 320px; height: 182px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiPEQHOjhBQiR4OZYL_garx-uhastm0NcB_VJkakvdS8a-vScl1F0sqXo7QIG84GHSY0UXa-XCjvR0Jh8Vb334OPkqmDt8LHz8PD72UZ0F74AM3f4ql2eiELTmy-cPUngxeV5SIr7qx1mkQ/s320/glitter.jpg" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5563775581148960194" border="0" /></a><br />It really is a bummer. It is nice to see the owner taking responsibility and fixing this problem. I can't say it enough but before you start a business...<span style="font-weight: bold;">RESEARCH </span>and when you think you know it all, research some more.<br /><br /><div style="text-align: left;"><span style="font-weight: bold;">The last hooray: </span>So between the shipping issue, no communication and glitter issues, this was a pretty so so experience. It could have been a lot better.<br /><br /><span style="font-weight: bold;">Pros: </span><br />Colors are nice minus the few with glitter issues.<br />I love the Pinup Powder, nice little shimmer dust.<br />Unique packaging.<br />Ingredients listed on site .<br /><br /><span style="font-weight: bold;">Cons: </span><br />Bad customer service.<br />Bad shipping time.<br />Ingredient issues, glitter that is too big and not cosmetically safe for eye use.<br /><br /><span style="font-weight: bold;">So, will I order from RABB again?</span> Maybe. Like I mentioned, I really did like the colors. I think once the owner fixes a few kinks, this could be a great shop to shop from. I truly do hope they can perform better in the future.<br /></div></div>Kristenhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10460898543503310310noreply@blogger.com9tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3129672193670320663.post-9862010158937964032011-01-18T11:02:00.000-08:002011-01-18T23:25:54.268-08:00What's coming up!I just want to say first, thank you all for following me and passing me around. I find it only fair if I post the answers here for my fans.<br /><br /><span style="font-weight: bold;">1. Why do you do this? </span><br />I LOVE makeup and I love new/indie companies. I have been burned in the past though because there hadn't been any reviews on said company. Besides, I love trying all new companies out.<br /><br /><span style="font-weight: bold;">2. Are you an expert? </span><br />Not at all! I just like what I do and want to share it. :)<br /><br /><span style="font-weight: bold;">3. Are these your own opinions? </span><br />Yes they are. Anything I write here is based on my own personal experiences with a company. You should always research and buy at your own discretion.<br /><br /><span style="font-weight: bold;">4. Are you paid to write these reviews?</span><br />No I am not. I buy all of the makeup I am reviewing. I prefer it that way actually. The reason is that I am getting the same treatment everyday customers are getting.<br /><br /><span style="font-weight: bold;">5. Have you ever written or will you have a bad review? </span><br />Yes I have (see my Glittersniffer Cosmetics! review). I am totally and 100% honest in my reviews.<br /><br />See..told you it was a quickie. Remember, if you ever have any questions, please feel free to email me at kmoniz05@hotmail.comKristenhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10460898543503310310noreply@blogger.com3tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3129672193670320663.post-12902129398247882342011-01-10T14:42:00.000-08:002011-01-10T15:50:10.218-08:00Calling all Glitter Geeks & Nerds: Shiro Review!<div style="text-align: center;"><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjyYX39cW0z71r9pX1eekFqzLJo8b5XOanvxu_0xWhPRmJoOAuqbwV2AAck0AIag-iyy8VjD_oUhW8awgldKW8mwMnNtoCGAXgk3PvNcufxbqCUiB_8U3jLo-W12pUgPKbMB81nR44cKwCS/s1600/iusb_760x100.7244989.jpg"><img style="cursor: pointer; width: 320px; height: 42px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjyYX39cW0z71r9pX1eekFqzLJo8b5XOanvxu_0xWhPRmJoOAuqbwV2AAck0AIag-iyy8VjD_oUhW8awgldKW8mwMnNtoCGAXgk3PvNcufxbqCUiB_8U3jLo-W12pUgPKbMB81nR44cKwCS/s320/iusb_760x100.7244989.jpg" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5560704631238860226" border="0" /></a></div><div style="text-align: center;"><span style="font-weight: bold; color: rgb(255, 0, 0);font-size:78%;" ><span style="font-family:georgia;">Image property of Shiro Cosmetics</span></span><br /></div><div style="text-align: center;"><br /></div>While on the lookout for new MM companies, the one name that kept popping up was Shiro Cosmetics. So I checked out the site on etsy and saw this:<br /><br /><div style="text-align: center;"><span style="font-style: italic; font-weight: bold;">Makeup and Geekery.</span><br />and from her facebook page:<br /><span style="font-weight: bold; font-style: italic;">Nerdy, independent makeup company.</span></div><br />I love it! I love geeks, nerds what have you. I'm telling you, catchy titles/descriptions/pictures is very important when having a business and trying to gain a following. Well enough babbling, lets get to it, shall we?<br /><br /><span style="font-weight: bold;">The basics: </span>Shiro Cosmetics is a one woman operation. It is own and founded by Caitlin. She has an etsy shop which you can find <a href="http://www.etsy.com/shop/shirocosmetics">HERE </a>and a website, which you can find <a href="http://www.shirocosmetics.com/">HERE</a>. Right now the website is under construction but it looks intersting with the Mario gaming look. I am really impressed with the photographs, as they cleary show the loose pigments and her names are pretty neat as well, such as Pikachu. As far as variety, Shrio has it. From her Legends Collection to the Super Effective Collection, colors range from the bold to the subtle.<br /><br /><div style="text-align: left;"><div style="text-align: center;"><div style="text-align: left;">I ordered a sample set on Dec 25th and received my package that following week (29th I believe). That's super fast shipping, which I appreciate. Now when I got my package I was even more impressed. Shiro doesn't skimp nor are they lazy in how they present their package. My goods came in this cute little bag with a business card on it. Now pay attention other etsy/MM owners. This is amazing customer service. This shows care and is a great touch. On the other side of the business card was a handwritten note from Caitlin. How sweet right? Another impressive touch.<br /></div> <a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi0NYjVtPe4SfzWVkZthMcUGSQqT33bT3zJQrvIQLBHm5lq2JeTYYUjAiXW_rNalYFtDsu8DaRddkeEbwk4Ib9ffGYY2KsjcWk9_cdpMepDpgGN5QWOfz1kf_AGzl20D1HRs74_-OLZQRmg/s1600/IMG_1973.jpg"><img style="margin: 0px auto 10px; display: block; text-align: center; cursor: pointer; width: 260px; height: 320px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi0NYjVtPe4SfzWVkZthMcUGSQqT33bT3zJQrvIQLBHm5lq2JeTYYUjAiXW_rNalYFtDsu8DaRddkeEbwk4Ib9ffGYY2KsjcWk9_cdpMepDpgGN5QWOfz1kf_AGzl20D1HRs74_-OLZQRmg/s320/IMG_1973.jpg" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5560696084643446482" border="0" /></a><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhC3HDOMclFSyc-tvVkG_I2z_dKA_BTfcMoKQWD-0JzY8Q0XBLeDZ3fB2r7ShYboddKHhV_mqbO7pY1czzO2FQbgYYkDtDkWyWEoZIkWRyUk32kokOu2mrh1bGGOdF0aF3xToHVTPR1KPYJ/s1600/IMG_1974.jpg"><img style="cursor: pointer; width: 320px; height: 187px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhC3HDOMclFSyc-tvVkG_I2z_dKA_BTfcMoKQWD-0JzY8Q0XBLeDZ3fB2r7ShYboddKHhV_mqbO7pY1czzO2FQbgYYkDtDkWyWEoZIkWRyUk32kokOu2mrh1bGGOdF0aF3xToHVTPR1KPYJ/s320/IMG_1974.jpg" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5560704623283371218" border="0" /></a><br /></div><br />Now, what did I get you ask? I really can't express how important this is to me and others. I personally want to know what I am putting on my eyes and I only wish all companies did this.<br /><br />Here is a swatch. The colors are so shimmery and pigmented. They are blended very well and they adhere nicely to the eyes. My favorite was Puzzle Cube. It is a great highlighter with glitter that will knock you out (ina good way!)<br /><br /><div style="text-align: center;"><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj82Sz4qgIouqkrwUBTpk1CSpWBZ7k_nj06h2yW9Em5QxunSce7f44EWGT8wLTwrpJvgfKFEq1pSWCKKPeRmMhwpSjby39GEMRbpTJS-wA1mFH648EyIjQdQpPBwKe1mZNbjZhj9is7fkTw/s1600/IMG_1989.jpg"><img style="cursor: pointer; width: 320px; height: 151px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj82Sz4qgIouqkrwUBTpk1CSpWBZ7k_nj06h2yW9Em5QxunSce7f44EWGT8wLTwrpJvgfKFEq1pSWCKKPeRmMhwpSjby39GEMRbpTJS-wA1mFH648EyIjQdQpPBwKe1mZNbjZhj9is7fkTw/s320/IMG_1989.jpg" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5560707916076810546" border="0" /></a><br /></div><div style="text-align: center; color: rgb(255, 0, 0);"><span style="font-weight: bold;font-size:85%;" >L to R: Temple of Time, Spinarak, Puzzle Cube, Magneton, Nayru's Love, Acid, Rupee</span><br /></div><br /><span style="font-weight: bold;">The big finish:</span><br />-Will I buy from Shiro again? They offer </span>unique, hand-blended, all-natural mineral makeup. They also have many Vegan items as well.<br /><br /><span style="font-weight: bold;">What I like about SCC:</span> As with the saying "You eat with you eyes first," I buy with my eyes first. What attracted me to SCC was their photos. They are well done and eye catching. Another plus is their packaging. With a previous cosmetic company, I was sent pigments in a non padded envelope. Spillage was a big problem with that company. I also love the fact that SCC's shipping time was amazing. I ordered on the 24th and got it on the 27th. With SCC, this is how my samples (yes samples!) were sent:<br /><div style="text-align: center;"><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgqVYtgSXbT95cyob-brU-P8WJMI7Arcw1YdjwMhiY1NxDocuxt5UCAynFN9Lw3q0YlI6XWJy33sD6HSuJzPZ1OVez2rAMUFw2PIYPM9DzQ6fAAGaYP-mg4TOABeGgmLkhyphenhyphenz1vVI9tf8suL/s1600/IMG_1922.jpg"><img style="cursor: pointer; width: 233px; height: 183px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgqVYtgSXbT95cyob-brU-P8WJMI7Arcw1YdjwMhiY1NxDocuxt5UCAynFN9Lw3q0YlI6XWJy33sD6HSuJzPZ1OVez2rAMUFw2PIYPM9DzQ6fAAGaYP-mg4TOABeGgmLkhyphenhyphenz1vVI9tf8suL/s320/IMG_1922.jpg" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5557286662998181586" border="0" /></a><br /><br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiS786w4b5drFHYTc9uOXwKKno-IFGCHL-ptcQ659LAYQlNm_0HfqRE2YyZk2SEdarLnCnDGP_lwZSA6GiXx6VCkZUeCSHfIcb-YHin3Pu_S1ZHP-B0rsD_9AN4E3RKGzhedw1gKjn3q4z-/s1600/IMG_1924.jpg"><img style="margin: 0px auto 10px; display: block; text-align: center; cursor: pointer; width: 260px; height: 172px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiS786w4b5drFHYTc9uOXwKKno-IFGCHL-ptcQ659LAYQlNm_0HfqRE2YyZk2SEdarLnCnDGP_lwZSA6GiXx6VCkZUeCSHfIcb-YHin3Pu_S1ZHP-B0rsD_9AN4E3RKGzhedw1gKjn3q4z-/s320/IMG_1924.jpg" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5557287687879853010" border="0" /></a> <div style="text-align: left;"><span style="font-weight: bold;">What I ordered:</span> I decided to order the 5 for 5 trial vials. This is a really good deal if you are unsure of a company and/or the colors. They come in cute little vials that have a rubber stopper. This is important because it holds <span style="font-weight: bold;">IN </span>the pigment. Each vial was placed in their own plastic bag. Now the thing with the vials, they really only allow for a small brush to get in. Now personally, this doesn't bother me because I just tap out what I need in the bag. Each bag is labeled with the name, so you wont get confused if you decide to pour into the bag. For my 5 for 5, I ordered <span style="font-weight: bold;">Smooze</span>, <span style="font-weight: bold;">Teal Deal</span>, <span style="font-weight: bold;">Unicorn Breath</span>,<span style="font-weight: bold;"> Keltoi</span> and <span style="font-weight: bold;">Caldonia</span>.<br /><br /><div style="text-align: center;"><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi5XEEkNYOvQtP_esWpLe0Fn3eh0w7953U7KMx4PpHzcTVW5iHPpu14W23gfjmMhX5hce9fPr-Y6hhpRtqvak5TK1rMq_9V3V2XUyDqRt3PfowgnXaC2j_cJHHmEoiVeKIYo4s6CG7LK9ol/s1600/vials.jpg"><img style="margin: 0px auto 10px; display: block; text-align: center; cursor: pointer; width: 320px; height: 213px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi5XEEkNYOvQtP_esWpLe0Fn3eh0w7953U7KMx4PpHzcTVW5iHPpu14W23gfjmMhX5hce9fPr-Y6hhpRtqvak5TK1rMq_9V3V2XUyDqRt3PfowgnXaC2j_cJHHmEoiVeKIYo4s6CG7LK9ol/s320/vials.jpg" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5557293434327216418" border="0" /></a><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjIKpXKqEUPCslCwgBkgz7wbQEVM_LnfpLbQb8rhLK2g1AEfta4nf1QzKXVtQNW7hj4teIQGSa8UEG16CMhJGXZX2Zdj24FxNsUX0cRpBDu8w0Yfv_xQuGDZBTD7pN624obkhw1fvAniLJZ/s1600/IMG_3603.jpg"><img style="margin: 0px auto 10px; display: block; text-align: center; cursor: pointer; width: 320px; height: 200px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjIKpXKqEUPCslCwgBkgz7wbQEVM_LnfpLbQb8rhLK2g1AEfta4nf1QzKXVtQNW7hj4teIQGSa8UEG16CMhJGXZX2Zdj24FxNsUX0cRpBDu8w0Yfv_xQuGDZBTD7pN624obkhw1fvAniLJZ/s320/IMG_3603.jpg" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5557307647499800322" border="0" /></a><br /><span style="font-weight: bold;">What I think about the pigments:</span> They are gorgeous colors. When you read below, you'll see why this one was a toughie. On one hand I am trying to stay professional and detach myself from the current situation with the company. On the other, I am angry because of what has went down with it and how it has been for me. I guess the best strategy is to simply, tell the truth right?<br /></div><div> </div><br /><div><strong>Company Info</strong>: <a href="http://glittersniffercosmetics.com/">Glittersniffer Cosmetics!</a> is run by Lela R. Warren. She hails from Detroit, MI and is a mom and wife. She started making pigments back in 2006 and sold on Etsy.com. <a href="http://glittersniffercosmetics.com/">Glittersniffer Cosmetics!</a> produces loose eye pigments, bath products and face fixers (primer, rice powder i.e)</div><div> </div><br /><div>I was first introduced to GSC at the end of 2009 when Lela was still on her etsy site. What I fond blew my eyes. There were so many wonderful and bright colors. I had never used loose pigments before but was intrigued. So I ordered two colors (as it was a 2 for 10 special). They were Mobster and Ingrid.<br /><br /><br /></div><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjwFQAW1NSjml7Ucq1ageVt-pkBfh3iDdtnIrnCv_QgliBBn-IkqC0LO2gq05mapkSOCiCNICLpRc6TdGi0wxWDM401-1jHoP7_FU9p-PABj4N6siAh1u4nDx94yzfOVJ1ihgYvNJLRwDPr/s1600/mob1.jpg"><img style="cursor: pointer; width: 200px; height: 148px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjwFQAW1NSjml7Ucq1ageVt-pkBfh3iDdtnIrnCv_QgliBBn-IkqC0LO2gq05mapkSOCiCNICLpRc6TdGi0wxWDM401-1jHoP7_FU9p-PABj4N6siAh1u4nDx94yzfOVJ1ihgYvNJLRwDPr/s320/mob1.jpg" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5554796821495087442" border="0" /></a> <a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEizIxrHOlGK47g0-qZcY0zlI0LpIYfb2lxE1Zc77AqUKJrx2s1m1hZPOK_aqGHjno2eRh6YMxKQkBO3XxR2-Ghtkga0eSe33QaSHoQBEmtSISoJo1JpLFPQBqvS4bxalo3WHDuSSJH0w_ic/s1600/ingrid1.jpg"><img style="cursor: pointer; width: 190px; height: 154px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEizIxrHOlGK47g0-qZcY0zlI0LpIYfb2lxE1Zc77AqUKJrx2s1m1hZPOK_aqGHjno2eRh6YMxKQkBO3XxR2-Ghtkga0eSe33QaSHoQBEmtSISoJo1JpLFPQBqvS4bxalo3WHDuSSJH0w_ic/s320/ingrid1.jpg" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5554797447229678402" border="0" /></a><div> </div><br /><div>For my first order, shipping was fast. I believe I got it withing a week. They came in little 5g jars with sifters and sifter stickers. There was a lable on the outside that had the company name and name of the pigment. It was all very neat and clean. I fell in love when I put on those colors. Before I knew it - I was buying pigments left and right. It became an addiction. During that time, I joined the facebook page and met many women who shared my addiction. I made and still have some great friends from the fan page. For a while it was rainbows and lollipops with the company....then when the Lela (the owner) decided to expand in Sept 2010, it all suddenly became like a bad dream. </div><br /><div> </div><br /><div>I remember everyone being pumped about the new line of colors/collections coming. According to a personal statement (which I will include at the end)...she soon became overwhelmed, selling product before she had it in hands, ignoring customer emails and shipping because horrible. I had many packages that either a) didn't come b) came with the wrong colors or c) wasn't what I ordered. Now when you spend $6.50 for a 5g jar, this gets old. It just got to be so much that I completely stopped ordering. </div><br /><div> </div><br /><div>A couple weeks ago, many long time customers left the page (actually they had left beforehand quietly but many told their friends/family why they left). When this went down...a lot of things came to light. You see, it appeared that many many other customers were going through the same things as I was with their orders. I believe one of the most important things that came out of this, was learning that many (if not all) of Glittersniffer Cosmetics! pinks/neons were not FDA approved for eye as we were led to believe. According to Lela via email, she did not find out that one of her micas was not eye approved until 12/21/2010. Now you can decided whether you believe her or not. I am here to post facts as I know them. There is a current list (which I will post) of the non approved colors. It is a rather long list which is in my personal opinion crazy. </div><br /><div> </div>Right now GSC is closed due to this maelstrom of new information. I know that GSC has been reported to the FDA. They are in so many disputes with former customers/paypal (yours truly included). So with that said, here is what I have to say:<br /><div><br /><span style="font-weight: bold;">1. Would you recommend this company/product:</span> No I personally would not. There is so much drama surrounding this company. While Lela says most of her pigments are safe, there is a lot not safe and I just wouldn't risk it. Remember, this is just my opinion, so if you want to check it out...good luck.<br /><br /><span style="font-weight: bold;">Important information: </span><br /><br /><span style="font-style: italic; font-weight: bold;font-family:georgia;font-size:100%;" >A list of recalled products from Lela (owner) from the GSC fan site: </span><span style="font-weight: bold;font-family:georgia;font-size:100%;" ><br /><br />**<br /><a href="http://www.facebook.com/pages/Glittersniffer-Cosmetics/85929629769">Glittersniffer Cosmetics!</a></span><span style="font-weight: bold;font-family:georgia;font-size:100%;" > As requested, we are providing a list of all the pigments that are not eye safe which have been made between the years of 2006 and 2010. Let me start at the beginning. My career making pigments began as a hobby in 2006 when my makeup addiction began to affect my pocket book. I wanted more than anything to develop a product that was affordable and could be used interchangeably to form the various cosmetics I spent all of my money on. I was working at a hotel chain and every paycheck went toward my makeup addiction; this is when Glittersniffer Cosmetics was born.<br /></span><h6 class="uiStreamMessage" ft="{"type":"msg"}"><span class="messageBody"><span style="font-weight: bold;font-family:georgia;font-size:100%;" >I started a shop on Etsy to sell the pigments I mastered, and I did so strictly as a hobby. I had no business experience, and I was lacking in knowledge when it came to cosmetic guidelines. I did some research and learned that many pinks and bright colors were made with ingredients that were either not FDA approved, or that were cosmetically approved but not eye approved. I made many pink colors with the idea in mind that these pigments could be turned into other cosmetic items such as blush, lipstick, or nail polish. I researched other cosmetic companies and learned that they used neon colors even though they were not FDA approved for use around the eyes, and I took a chance and made some for myself. The neon colors contain soap dyes, which is why they are not eye approved. I began posting pictures of these neon looks and people were insisting that they be given the opportunity to try them. I in fact did warn my customers about the 80’s collection and why it was not eye approved, but every time I took it out of my stock I received multiple e-mails demanding its return. I then made a poor decision and made other colors out of soap dyes, and not all of these colors were advertised as they should have been.<br />I began to realize that Glittersniffer Cosmetics was too big for the site that we were selling off of, and the fee’s surrounding my sales were really hindering my profit, so I hired a Vice President, ditched my old sales route, and opened a big new website. I was not ready for any of that. I failed to realize during this expansion, that the standard my loyal customers had previously held me to was increasing, and that I needed to re-evaluate my business practices. I believed that I could continue treating a business that had over five thousand customers, as a hobby to make extra money. GS was growing, but I was not. My mind continued to stay focused on my personal issues, and I let my business fall behind. I put e-mails off, I allowed orders to pile up, and then I found myself in a situation I saw no way out of. Most small businesses start out with some sort of small business loan, grant, or other monetary infusion, but because I had never considered a need for such a thing for something I considered to be a hobby; I didn’t have the funds to pay a staff to assist me with the ordering, packaging, and shipping process. Here is where my down hill slide began.<br />I have long advertised my company as an all vegan company, and I became so caught up in offering every customer something that they would love for a fair price, that I began losing sight of why I implemented my company values in the first place. It started with making reds that included carmine. I tried to always include a note letting the buyer know that the pigment was non-vegan, but when a consumer is buying from an all vegan company, they shouldn’t have to look for notes indicating otherwise. I then noticed a fan commenting that they wanted really nice brushes for a relatively reasonable price, and I found some badger fur brushes and placed them for sale. Selling those brushes was one of the worst moves I could have made as a company, and I put the feelings of my loyal, vegan customers aside to make money. For that, I will forever be sorry.<br />I have heard the voices of my customers, past and present, and I would like to come to you and tell you what I am changing to bring this company back to what it was meant to be. From this point forward, we will only be selling merchandise through our official Glittersniffer Cosmetics website. Selling from multiple places became too confusing. GS Cosmetics will be pre-making a set number of collections and products, and we will only be selling until we run out of them. At the point in which the stock is depleted, we will not be offering it ever again. There will be no re-making of collections or trying to duplicate collection colors. We are discarding all of our old stock and re-doing each and every pigment to be 100% vegan, FDA, and eye approved with recipes for the colors that we will always keep in stock. Never again will we sell a pigment or a collection that does not fit the above categories. Any staff member of GS Cosmetics who will be touching any merchandise will wear gloves. All ingredients that could be found in any of our products will be listed on the GS website. We have hired a new, more efficient staff, including a new vice president who will assist in all business related decisions, an accountant, a bookkeeper, and we have applied for a business license in the state of Michigan.<br />I want to personally, and publically apologize to my customers both new and old for my actions over the last six months. I have spent many sleepless nights thinking about what has happened and realizing that there are some things I won’t be able to fix. I have not only lost customers and nearly lost my company, but I have lost friendships with the women who helped create my company, and that is what hurts the most. With every beat of my heart…I am so sorry I have let you down.<br /><br />XOXO<br />Lela Warren<br />President of Glittersniffer Cosmetics</span><br /></span></h6>****************************************<br /><br />Here are some other bloggers who have had similiar experiences with GSC:<br /><br />http://phyrra.net/2009/11/glitter-sniffer-review.html<br /><br />http://aijuswhanakno.com/2010/06/glittersniffer-a-retraction.html<br /><br />http://nikhedonia.wordpress.com/2010/08/04/behind-the-glitter/<br /><br />************************************************************************<br /><br /><span style="color: rgb(255, 0, 0);"><span style="font-weight: bold;">Final say:</span> I know this blog was long but it has been on my mind for a while and remember, these are just MY views and thoughts on the current situation with the company. I don't know about you but my eyes are sensitive and finding cosmetics that don't aggravate my eyes is a hard. I have found a few companies (reviews to come on those later) and this one, Elohi who are fantastic. So what is Elohi Cosmetics? It's an amazing cosmetic shop founded by the equally amazing Morgan Robinson. She is a Navy wife and mom, and now a business lady! You are probably wondering what Elohi stands for right? Well here goes a short history lesson:<br /><span style="font-weight: bold;">"Elohi is the Cherokee word for Earth. It is pronounced Ay-low-he."-Morgan R.<br /><br /></span>Her products are all 100% all natural mineral makeup and Vegan friendly.
